ALLICAT CREATIVE

A creative. An animal lover. Jewelry lover. Those are three ways my friends and family would describe me. But, they would also say I am hardworking, passionate, dedicated and loyal.

 

From the time I was young, I knew I wanted to be in advertising. Always doing something creative, I would make posters better known to us as mood boards (who knew they were called that way back then), help my mother design and make jewelry. I even loved to draw the football break through signs in high school. I grew up in Mountain Brook, AL. and graduated from Southern Methodist University. 

 

After college, I returned to Birmingham, worked for free at a small agency to learn everything I could. Then interned at another local agency, Luckie. When I was ready to get a full-time job, I was told by one of my mentors, "Go get more experience, move off and learn in the big city." Hello, Atlanta. Hello, Dallas. But, my heart was in Birmingham. So, I eventually came back to my Sweet Home Alabama.

When I returned, I freelanced and worked full-time for one agency for 12.5 years. Currently,
I freelance from home and work for clients all over the US and locally in Alabama. I also volunteer a lot for several local animal rescue organizations. 

I am married with fur kids. I may be silly sometimes, but I am passionate about my work.
